Post Bad time with Microsoft Analytics
I've been trying MS adcenter and the whole 'Analytics tool' tor a while now and it just sucks.
here's why!

A) Why do th f**cking reports only go back three months and why don't they match with ad center.
B)The date ranges are all set in ad centre and there is no calender system like in Google!
C) Try getting a keyword drill down for a date range of 'entire time'. it never f**cking shows!
D) the system is slow, and awefull to use.

I hope they fix this soon!

Silverlight seems to solve the problem with the reports and the calender:
should-i-install-the-silverlight-plugin-t8.html
By installing Silverlight the calendar will work like a dream.

For your other problems... I hope they'll find a solution soon indeed!

I agree with L33tb0y,

There are some awefull flays in the system, but overal Microsoft Analytics is a good system.

I do think installing a special plug-in shouldn't be the solution for the calendar problem.

Doesn't sound to good.

I'm looking to sign up, but this does not sound promising.

Be sure to check it out. It'll only cost you 5 bucks wich you can spend on advertising.

I thought it was money well spent and perosnally pretty much have abandoned Google.

No it isn't that bad. MS ACA does have:

A) Gender, occupation... demographics. Google has none, appart form location
B) Treemap view, which quickly gives an overview.
C) Can auto track outbound links (I'm not sure if Google can do this too at this moment)
D) Usuability: Just get used to it, it was the same with Google in the beginning.

Just my thoughts,

-Charles

I do wander if their Gender, occupation, etc demographic stats will become more usefull. Currently most of my reports show more than 90% unknown.
