I have a site with some deep pages getting direct requests and the subsequent bounce rates of almost 100%. I know the page isn't even indexed as I have blocked it with my robots.txt (part of the shopping cart).
Hoe can this be? How can people reach these pages directly?

Am I overlooking something?

It might be bookmarks... Some webusers think they can save their shoppingcart by bookmarking it. If you have a good session and cookie system this will also be the case, but on many occasions these visitors will just recheck their bookmarks several months later and then directly abondon the page, giving you a high bounce rate.

That could be the problem! Nothing to worry about, you should just make sure they don't bookmark and complete the sale in the first place.

Either bookmarks, or somebody has emailed that link to a lot of his freinds. Social bookmarking may also be the issue, but that is rather unlikely on a shopping cart page.
