Hello all,

Why is it that whenever I want to view my visitor stats over a custom data range this is not possible. Gatineau neatly shows an error and then reverts my data range back to just a single week:

Sometimes it doesn't even give an error and just logs me off if I try setting a date range.

What's the reason for this?? It can do it for page views, just not for visitors. This is a very confusing.

Yes, I recall having the same problem a while back, never tried it since...
It sometimes just kicks you out of the system.

I think it has something to do with 'visitors' actually being unique visitors, thus recording of IP's (or session ID's) is necessary to check if it's not the same user coming ack again and again.
I think it would produce too much server load if IP's from longer periods than a week are recorded and checked for return visitors. In this way the 'visitor' report depicts the unique visitors that have visited your website this week, while actually forgetting who visited last week.

I'm not sure though, I'd need to check.

MS ACA does eem buggy at some times. However, if you know what your doing and know the what will cause errors it is quite easy to move around in.
I have seen loads of errors but never seem to be able te reconstruct them, that's why I've never contacted support. My question will just look like as if a noob is using their tool.

Is there a manual you can follow that will help you keep track of the problems you are experiencing.
