What are the main differences between Google Analytics and Microsoft Analytics?

The biggest difference is that Google Analytics (GA) has millions of users and websites tracked currently. Microsoft ACA only has a coupe thousands of Beta testers and is developing raher slowly.

For Google AdWords Advertising is their main source of income and thus their Analytics tool gets a lot of focus. For Microsoft I feel it is put a side a little bit.

Feature-wise the main differences are Gender tracking, Treemap View and Automatic outbound link tracking. All these features are available in MS ACA and are not in GA.

Google ACA does have some good ties with their popular adWords and recently also allowed adSense CTR tracking, to help improve the revenue of ad publishers and MS is trailing behind in this a little. Google also offer advanced segmentation, which is a great tool to get a detailed grip on your visitor stats.

All other features are almost the same
