Has Google also assigned new pagerank 'policies' to your website. Several of my pages have just gone up from 0 to PR 4. It seems to be related to the URL path. Directories directly of the root are getting much higher PR's.

hmm, I haven't noticed this. I am expecting some updates though. Some of grey-PR pages should be recieveing a PR 3 or 4 status pretty soon I think.
