Post What features would you like to see?
Hello Everyone

Microsoft Analytics has been in Beta for quite some time now (more than year) and they seem to be begging for their users oppinion. Already in July 2008 they asked for user oppinions through their official blog: http://adcentercommunity.com/blogs/anal ... -team.aspx and got no replies. Also on their official forums: http://adcentercommunity.com/forums/t/537.aspx they recieved two reactions.

Of course they have an official Beta testing team, that runs through bugs and optimizes the system, hbut feedback from normal users seems to be little.

Let's change that and begin some discussion here about:

What features would you like to see in Microsoft Analytics in the future?

I, for one, would like to see the session timeout being extended. I can;t even get a cup of coffee now, without the system logging me off.

Very annoying, it's not like I'm banking or something.

I would know anything that is of great importance...

Have been using it for myself for some time now and am trying to pursuade my customers.
I am interested in what other people found missing in this tool though. Let's keep the posts comming!

Richard

The ability to track special events like scroll position. reading times... etc. Not only clicks on links should be tracked to trully optimize a website for usability.

I have a couple!

1) Errors not logging me out!
2) Refferer links clickable!
3) Visitor view time in relation to paths!

Explanation can be found in other posts on this board!

Visually showing data using pie graphs, charts.. etc.. I don't know if MSA does this.. but it would be amazing.

Also, showing live data. As in, ajax all the way.. If someone clicks a link, it shows it instantly.

Live data, like Woopra (and in a way Yahoo Analytics) offers would be very useful to get direct grip on your campaigns and website navigation paths. Would take a lot of server load I bet...
