Currently Micrsoft Adcenter Analytics (It's official name according to the website) is still called project Gatineau. The question is: How long will it be going under this name? When is the Beta going to be replaced by a full-throtle version of Microsoft Analytics?
Back in December 2007 word sprang up about a new free web-Analytical tool provide by Microsoft that would be linked to their adCenter system. Now more than a year later the Beta version is still being tested. Still a lot of people find the service that MS offers 'under-par' and result to Google for their stats. Isn't it time for Microsoft to release a full blown web-analytics tool for everybody to enjoy that is both usable and functional? They've had a year to gain insight into the wishes of their users, they've had a year to optimize their tool to tackle the growing succes of Google Analytics and still MS has nowhere near the users Google is getting?
What's the hold-up? Isn't it time to just say: 'We've optimized the system to the best of our knowledge, we've granted all wishes we could handle and this is our final product'?
In the meantime the Google team has implemented some awesome updates aswell. The Google Analytics development team will not stop Developing. Isn't it time to throw the towle in the ring and say this is what we have to offer; if you don't like it: 'go f*ck yourself'.
Most users have waited long enough for a final product that would suit their needs and they deserve a final version.
